Randy Moss Returns to Minnesota

Randy Moss is returning to the place where his career began after being traded from New England to the Vikings. It had become clear in recent weeks that the relationship between Moss and the Pats was deteriorating and it was only a matter of time before something happened.

With Moss' departure, the rumor mill is already churning with ideas of the Pats looking into acquiring Vincent Jackson to replace him. Meanwhile, the Vikings look to finally have a replacement for their own deep threat, the injured Sidney Rice.

We'll also get an opportunity to see what could have been a few years back when Brett Favre was still on the Packers and pleading for Ted Thomspon to sign Moss. Favre has not been able to stretch the field much this season. Moss could be the remedy for that situation. It will be interesting to see how long it takes them to get on the same page. The Vikings need to get the passing game rolling so they don't lose any more ground in the division.

Fantasy Outlook:
We don't know yet if Moss will be ready to play this Sunday against the Jets, but once he is in the lineup his value will carry over from New England. Sidney Rice was a beast last year and Moss will fill in a similar role.
