In those two games he made 5 field goals (none longer than 32 yards), but on Sunday he missed a short 29 yarder that would have given the Saints a lead over the Cardinals. You can't say the miss cost them the game, but it definitely didn't help as the Saints went on to lose. Today the Saints decided to release Carney, so it looks like Hartley is going to get another chance. Let's hope he makes the best of this one. Fantasy Outlook: As we've pointed out in the past, the Saints kicking job is a good one. We've also pointed out on many occasions that kickers are interchangeable. Having said that, as long as New Orleans is going to run Hartley out there for FG attempts, he is worth putting in your lineup. |
