Colts Lose Another Key Receiver
Austin CollieIcon SMI

Thursday, October 21, 2010

The bad news just keeps coming for the Indianapolis Colts who yesterday found out they would be losing Dallas Clark indefinitely (potentially for the season) with a hand/wrist injury and RB Joseph Addai suffered nerve damage in his left shoulder and is likely to miss some action as well.

Now, The Indianapolis Star is reporting that Colts wideout Austin Collie had surgery on his thumb and will miss a few weeks of action.

Fantasy Outlook:
Remaining Colts wideouts are about to see a major jump in targets. Among Colts, Collie and Clark rank 2nd and 3rd, respectively, in targets, catches and yardage. Collie leads the team with 6 receiving TD's.

That work is now going to be distributed heavily to Reggie Wayne and Pierre Garcon. Another guy, that should get more work is Blair White. In limited action so far, White has pulled in 6 catches for 66 yards and 1 TD and is a potential sleeper over the next few weeks.
