Arizona Cardinals QB Ryan Lindley won't be challenging QB Kevin Kolb for the starting job, but quarterbacks coach John McNulty said Lindley has a 'big arm,' and figures to make the quarterback situation interesting this summer. While NcNulty wouldn't rule out Lindley battling QB John Skelton for the backup job, it's more likely Lindley's immediate competition is QB Richard Bartel for the No. 3 job. 'He's a big guy with a big arm,' McNulty said. 'He's not intimidated by anything out here.' Lindley struggled with accuracy in college, and he said the problem lies primarily in his footwork. | ||

Arizona Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb said he wishes the team would have communicated to him that they were pursuing QB Peyton Manning before he signed with the Denver Broncos. 'Without getting into too much detail about our conversation, I just said in the future if you can just communicate with me, I can take it, if this is the route you're going,' Kolb said. 'I'd just rather hear it from him than the ticker. He agreed. That's how relationships grow and that's where we're heading.'
