Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said he is not worried about a possible sophomore slump for QB Cam Newton because he expects Newton to work hard and not let it happen. 'I will say this about a sophomore slump if theres anybody thats going work through it, hes going to work through it. When the season was over, one of the things he said was he wanted to find a way to make sure he didnt have one. The New Orleans Saints placed bounties on Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton this past season. Panthers general manager Marty Hurney said he was disappointed upon hearing the news.
