San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh said there is some concern that QB Colin Kaepernick could become too big, and too strong, as he does his offseason workouts. Harbaugh would prefer he worked on his speed and quickness. 'If you're just talking about weightlifting and upper-body strength, yes, I think there is that fear,' Harbaugh said. 'It's something we've talked about. 'I don't want you getting too jacked-up, Colin.' I want some speed, quickness, not just (flexing chest his muscles).'

Baltimore Ravens LB Terrell Suggs said he did not think much of San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick prior to Super Bowl XLVII; however, he came away impressed with the quarterback following the game. Kaepernick threw for 302 yards, in addition to rushing for 62 yards against the Ravens. 'When you go in there and youre playing a guy like that, I hate quarterbacks, but that kid is the truth and I have the upmost respect for him,' Suggs said. 'I dont think he needs to hold his head down at all because hes going to play in a few (Super Bowls).'

San Francisco 49ers WR Michael Crabtree was targeted 94 times in QB Colin Kaepernick's 10 starts this season, which was the most amount all receivers. WR Randy Moss and TE Vernon Davis were tied for second with 39 targets each.

San Francisco 49ers WR A.J. Jenkins is expected to join QB Colin Kaepernick for offseason workouts as he looks to improve his overall game. 'Obviously, I want to contribute a lot more than I have been,' Jenkins said. 'So I'm going to make that happen and come back bigger, faster, stronger.' Jenkins only was active for three games in the regular season. He was in uniform during the playoffs but had no passes thrown his way, and he played three snaps in Super Bowl XLVII.
