Broncos | Nate Irving improving: Denver Broncos LB Nate Irving has improved with his move to strongside linebacker, showing more quickness in space. The team used him in the base defense against the San Diego Chargers in Week 6 Monday, Oct. 15, when the Chargers were in heavier formations on early downs. Irving needs to show he can consistently shed blockers to receive more playing time, though. Denver showed four-linebacker sets Monday, too, with Irving joining LBs Keith Brooking, Von Miller and Wesley Woodyard.
