'Two years ago, I was told I might never walk again,' Herzlich posted on his official Twitter page. 'Just WALKED off plane in Indy to play in (the Super Bowl). Take that (expletive) cancer.' Herzlich had surgery in November 2009 to put a rod through his femur, and he was told he was never going to walk again.
