Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said if he had to do it all over again, he'd still rest QB Aaron Rodgers in the meaningless Week 17 finale against the Detroit Lions with homefield advantage wrapped up. Some critics believe rust was the reason the Packers lost to the New York Giants in the NFC divisional playoffs. 'As far as sitting players, I wouldnt change that at all,' McCarthy said. 'A fresh team is the best team because you can accomplish the things you need to accomplish leading up to that game if you go about it the right way.' | ||
