Bears | Teammate expects Matt Forte to be at camp: Chicago Bears LB Brian Urlacher said he expects franchise free-agent RB Matt Forte to report on time for training camp even though he is not expected to take part in offseason workouts. Urlacher thinks Fortes absence will allow RB Michael Bush to learn the offense during the workouts.

Bears | Likely done shopping in free agency : The Chicago Bears are reportedly only $3.5 million under the salary cap after the acquisition of WR Brandon Marshall via trade and the signings of RB Michael Bush, QB Jason Campbell and WR Eric Weems.
KFFLMarch 28, 2012
Bears | Coach sees Michael Bush as complete back: Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith said the team added RB Michael Bush this offseason because he has the ability to be an all-around back in the offense.

Bears | Lovie Smith speaks with Matt Forte : Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith said he has spoken to franchise free-agent RB Matt Forte since the running back's angry reaction to the signing of RB Michael Bush. While Smith didn't say the situation had been resolved, he seemed confident that it would be. 'We love him, he's going to rush for a lot of yards for us,' Smith said. 'It's going to work out fine.'

Bears | Michael Bush expects RB rotation: Chicago Bears RB Michael Bush said head coach Lovie Smith told him he will be part of a rotation with RB Matt Forte and both players will get plenty of playing time.
KFFLMarch 22, 2012
Bears | Michael Bush provides relief : The addition of RB Michael Bush suggests the Chicago Bears will not be desperate to get franchise free-agent RB Matt Forte in the fold, and the overall running back market means Forte cant expect much out of a long-term deal.
KFFLMarch 22, 2012
Bears | Michael Bush added: The Chicago Bears signed free-agent RB Michael Bush (Raiders) to a four-year deal worth $14 million Thursday, March 22. Bush will have $7 million in guarantees.
KFFLMarch 21, 2012
Raiders | Could Michael Bush return?: The potential of free-agent RB Michael Bush returning to the Oakland Raiders seems more and more plausible. He has said he enjoys playing for the Raiders on more than one occasion, but he wanted to test the open market to see if he could be a lead back somewhere. The market for veteran free-agent running backs has been lukewarm; Bush met with the Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals while the Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets reportedly have interest in him, too. There is a chance Bush could return to Oakland if he cannot land a starting job with another team.
