'The best thing to me that tempo does,' Kolb said, 'is that it relaxes the mind of the players and they can just do what theyve been doing their entire life. A big problem, especially for young players at this level, is they slow down because theyre thinking too much. If you get them into a no-huddle, you get them into a quick style of offense, then theyre just reading and reacting. When youre reading and reacting youre playing at your highest level and thats when you make a lot of great plays.' | |
