: San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh said the team isn't considering re-signing WR Randy Moss after learning that WR Michael Crabtree (Achilles') tore his Achilles' Wednesday, May 22. Harbaugh said the team is intrigued with the depth of young receivers they have on roster, and they are looking forward to them stepping up to the task. WR A.J. Jenkins, the team's 2012 first-round pick, will have a chance to make an impact in his second year. Jenkins has spent the offseason adding muscle and working with QB Colin Kaepernick.

'He wants to be involved. Weve talked about it many times, suggestions he would make. Its all been positive. Its all been good.' Harbaugh would not say if Moss will return to the team in 2013. 'I dont know about that,' Harbaugh said. 'Next question.'
