Chargers | Make roster moves: The San Diego Chargers have released DE Jacques Cesaire, OT Anthony X. Davis, OT Mario Henderson, FB Jacob Hester and PK Nick Novak. The team waived RB Edwin Baker, OG Colin Baxter, OT Charlie Bryant, LB Ricky Elmore, LB Darryl Gamble, CB Greg Gatson, DE Logan Harrell, CB Arthur Hobbs, QB Jarrett Lee, P Robert Malone, CB De'Andre Presley, DE Damik Scafe, OF Stephen Schilling, TE Kory Sperry and WR Mike Willie. The team also placed SS Sean Cattouse (undisclosed) on Injured Reserve.

Chargers | Mario Henderson dropped weight : San Diego Chargers OT Mario Henderson has dropped his weight to 333 pounds in the offseason. Henderson weighed almost 390 pounds when he signed with the team. Henderson said the weight loss is a result of not wanting to fail the Chargers when they gave him his second chance at the NFL.

'I'm very disappointed about it,' Jackson said. 'It's not very Raider-like, but obviously, there's nothing I can do about it. The rules won't let me talk to those particular players or anything. But I am disappointed. I'm sure when we're allowed to address it, we will.'

Raiders | Mario Henderson arrested: Oakland Raiders OT Mario Henderson was arrested after a traffic stop in downtown Fort Myers early Thursday, March 17, for carrying a concealed firearm, according to Fort Myers Police reports, reports NBC-2.com. Henderson was pulled over by Fort Myers police for playing music too loud in his vehicle. Police then asked Henderson if he had a gun in the car. Henderson did not correctly say where exactly the gun was, and is not licensed to carry a concealed firearms permit. Henderson was charged with carrying a concealed firearm and cited for failure to wear a seat belt and city ordinance violation for the loud car stereo.
