| : Updating a previous report, the New Orleans Saints saved $3.44 million against this year's salary cap with the restructured deal agreed upon by SS Roman Harper Friday, May 24. In 2014, Harper's salary will reduce from $6 million in his previous deal to $2.35 million, with another $800,000 in bonuses. As such, his cap number reduces then, too, from $7.9 million to $5.87 million. His restructured deal also includes an extension into 2015, with his salary set to be $2.7 million, with another $800,000 in bonuses, and a cap figure of $4.47 million. | |
