| NFL | Larry Fitzgerald supports bounty suspensions : Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald said that he feels badly for the New Orleans Saints players who were suspended as a result of the leagues investigation into bounties; however, he doesnt think the league could sit by and do nothing when it learned of the Saints bounty program. 'Ive known Jonathan Vilma for a very long time, and Will Smith actually hosted me on my visit to Ohio State in college,' Fitzgerald said. 'So Ive known these guys for a really long time and theyre not bad men by any stretch of the imagination. I feel bad that theyre losing game checks and losing the opportunity to make a living. Vilma has been suspended for the entire 2012 season. 'I am shocked and extremely disappointed by the NFL's decision to suspend me for the 2012 season,' Vilma wrote.
