| Broncos | Tight ends playing big role: Denver Broncos tight ends have caught 64 passes this season, already more than in any season since 2008. TE Jacob Tamme has 34 receptions for 312 yards and a touchdown, while TE Joel Dreessen has 27 catches for 250 and four touchdowns. Tamme and Dreessen both run well, allowing either to also set up as a slot receiver, or even occasionally as a wideout. 'Dreessen and Tamme can play (multiple positions), and that's a big part of our offense,' QB Peyton Manning said. 'In certain progressions, those guys are the first read. Coach (Mike) McCoy's done a good job of utilizing those guys, trying to get those guys in (favorable) matchups. Mike tries to move those guys around.' | |
