| Buccaneers | Kellen Winslow told not to show for OTAs: Updating an ongoing story, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have instructed TE Kellen Winslow not to show up for organized team activities as the team tries to trade him, according to a league source. The teams reasoning for not wanting Winslow at practice is obvious. If he suffers an injury, the Buccaneers will owe him his full $3.3 million salary for 2012. Winslow is under contract for three more seasons, at base salaries of $3.3 million, $4.5 million, and $5.5 million, respectively. He likely would have to restructure the contract in order to complete a trade. | |
