![]() | QB | Kyle Orton | |
| Well it took long enough to get him under center and he sure made an impact, helping the Chiefs crush the Packers chances of an undefeated season. He came up just shy of 300 passing yards and couldn't find the end zone, but with a beast like Dwayne Bowe on the roster, there is breakout potential waiting to happen. In his 2nd start for the Chiefs, Orton will come face to face with a familiar adversary. He's no stranger to the Raiders from his time in Denver. He last saw them the opening week of the season and he picked up 304 passing yards and 1 TD. | |||
![]() | RB | Donald Brown | |
| Due to the upcoming matchup against the 3rd ranked Texans run defense, give this guy a look only if you're desperate. He's been really productive lately, going over 10 fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 outings. He has only been named the starter in 1 of those contests, but he's consistently seen more carries than Joseph Addai. The reason he's an option is because of his ability to break off the big play which he demonstrated by ripping off an 80 yard TD run against the Titans. Don't pin your hopes on another 10 point day, but if you're desperate, at least he's going to get his touches. | |||
![]() | WR | Jabar Gaffney | |
| The Redskins favorable schedule down the stretch has worked out nicely for Gaffney. He's had at least 72 yards receiving in 3 of his last 4 games. He leads the team in receptions and yards over that stretch. The production will carry over at least one more week when Washington hosts the Vikings. Their secondary has been shoddy and just got picked apart by Drew Brees. | |||
![]() | WR | Demaryius Thomas | |
| Thomas continued his hot streak with a third consecutive outing with 100 yards and/or a TD. Over that stretch, no other Broncos receiver even comes close to his numbers (18 catches, 338 yards, 3 TDs). Week 16 has him headed to Buffalo where they've been below average against the pass. | |||
![]() | TE | Brent Celek | |
| What's not to like about a 156 yard, 1 TD performance from a TE? Celek only has a handful of big games this year, but it has been a marked improvement from last season. He's fresh off his season best and the rest of the schedule looks promising. Week 16 the Eagles get their rematch against the Cowboys. One of the few soft spots for their defense has been the TE position. Celek contributed to that ranking with his numbers back in week 8. He hauled in 7 passes for 94 yards and a TD. | |||
